Who is TSO?

T.S.O was born on the South Side of Chicago, better known as the wild 100’s. He learned how to run the streets from his older brother. At the age of 14 he witnessed his father's shooting.

This type of violence did not become uncommon to him. Out of fear for his safety, his mother moved him to East Chicago, IN.  However, this move only made matters worst. T.S.O says

"I know at least 20 people that were murdered in my brief time in East Chicago”.

Out of options, his mother sent him to the Job Corps right outside of Puducah, Ky where he spent the next two years. Shortly after his 18th birthday he found out he was about to become a father.

It was at that moment that he realized he had to make a change. Two years later, with the help of his younger brother, he enrolled into Indiana University in Bloomington, IN.  There is where he meet Derrick Puckett who lead him back to Christ on April 2nd, 2008.  T.S.O hasnt looked back.

In two years he has shared the stage with artists such as the Da T.R.U.T.H, Canton Jones, Flame, Thisl, Jai, D MAUB, Tye Tribbett, Demita Haddon, Chris Searcy, and more.

His debut album "Birth Control" is coming soon and their is a tour in the works.  This will be a  movement like no other....

Easter Sunday Caught Me Off Guard

By Brigitte "Serious" James

I was sitting at my desk a couple of days ago. I was determined to finish my work for the day, then all of a sudden I got a phone call from a colleague who was very emphatic about what he wanted. "I know you're all religious" he said. "I wanted to know what Easter was all about, you know, cuz I was just curious."

I was taken aback. I paused for what seemed to be a long minute. Then I said awwwwe, Easter ha?

Here was my opportunity to minister to the brother, but I needed a minute to clear my head and give him what he wanted. I told him I'd call him back.

It took a minute for me to wake up, for me to snap out of my professional, I'm at work mode and into evangelical mode. Here I was in the office of the seventh largest paper in the world, an entity that had stakes all over the continent. Here was God saying give some information to this young man.

I called him and told him all about Easter: the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

He responded by saying "I thought it was something like that." I thought to myself, was this a test to see if I knew about one of the most important days of the year for the Christian community?

I took a few things away from this situation. What would you do if you're put to the test on the job? Would you refuse to tell someone about your faith?

Expressing your faith, when the opportunity presents itself, is key! Will you acknowledge your allegiance with Christ or stay mum and lose an opportunity to educate someone on the Christian faith? @theyeshour

BRAND NEW REVIEW: WILLIAMS WALLACE "OPEN IT"

BY @MRCWITDAYESHR

It is great to see that artists are out there not just trying to flow on the mic, but spending time in the Word of God to be relevant in what He is saying.  Many times, artists try to use the Christian Rap stage to fulfill a dream in the natural.  However, William Wallace connects his work to The Word and lets it shine.   He successfully make a connection to Philippians 1:6, for example: “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus” (NIV).  The message never changes.  When the heart of one is opened to accept Jesus as their Savior, He will do the rest.  This is ministry at its best.READ REVIEW
